A bad day @ Work(23/4/08)

Just got home after a tired day at work.......sales was quite good.......or else Gary will start scolding me again.........

Today had a BAD encounter with a CHINA customer with an attitude prob.....it all started when this customer wanted to go to Bintan this coming Friday and he came in the morning and asked David, one of my colleague abt the availability and the cost. He was quoted abt 200 plus for the standard room, and was told it was available; he then came back abt 1/2 hrs later and wanted to bk, but then was told that only the Deluxe room was available. he said he wanted to consider. Later at abt 5.30pm,he came back. he went to Peggy, my colleague but she was bz, so she passed this customer to me........this stoopid customer said tat her attitude was bad and kept on nagging.....

I was trying to explain the costing to them, but then they just kept on talking non-stop abt her bad attitude. Later, he asked me abt the visa requirement for the VOA(visa on arrival). i patiently tried to explain to them the procedures and the cost, but that stupid man kept on complaining that i nvr tell him this, tell him that etc.

that was not all, he wanted an instant hotel confirmation without paying. i told him tat we called the hotel already but then we must fax the Exchange Order(E.O)and collect the money b4 we can do any booking and i already have swiped the card and issued the receipt. DAMM IT!! He challenged me and refused to sign the slip, saying tat our procedures are wrong. he started to shout at me...............Kan asked me to cancel the booking, but then i only void the Visa slip and show it to him..........i cancelled the VISA charge just to pacify him.........at that moment, i was already boiling MAD.......

at least the daughter was understanding, the father and mother was shouting at me as though i was in the wrong..........i was already PISSED OFF and ANGRY........eventually, they did the booking with me....$927.80..........
I really hate to do last min booking.....but wat to do....this is part of my job...if i did not, he will complain abt me again
